"The Retrospective"
Before God does anything, he prepares the atmosphere for everything Heaven desires to be birthed in the Earth.
God created the night, the day, the planetary system, the Heavens, the Earth, the oceans, the firmament, the plants, the animals, and the flourishing ecosystems all before he formed man and woman and placed them in the Garden of Eden.
Our God is the same God that he was back then, and his patterns for excellence never change. They are eternal.
In the Summer 0f 2015, unbeknownst to my family, God began shifting and preparing our atmosphere for major promotion and blessings.
Today's archives are key messages released through The Clarissa Joan Experience at the time God was setting the stage for the work of The Being Academy.
What was true back then is still true now.
"Our gifts truly make room for us." Proverbs 18:6
The greatest gift we have ever been given is life itself. When we practice, communing with God daily, our path to winning is secured by our commitment to making El Shaddai, God Almighty, a home within our hearts. #Bethechurch

"I'm Aware: Be The Church"
Published: 06/02/2015
According to the World Book, there are 8 Billion people living on planet earth and over 84% of them are religiously affiliated. Christianity is the world’s most popular religion with over 31% of human beings declaring to be followers of Jesus.
If at least 4 Billion people on the planet believe in God, why are we still struggling to find peace on earth?
I have been attending church consistently every Sunday as far back as I can remember. I love Jesus and I love going to church! But after 28 years of church going, I now know that going to church is pointless.
Six years ago, I graduated college and my world fell apart. I was unhappy with my post-education career outcomes, and I slipped into a deep depression coupled with anxiety and panic attacks.
In addition to my own internal conflict, I experienced multiple tragedies and deaths of loved ones, the most impactful event being the stillborn death of our son, Joshua. In the aftermath of my afflictions, I have been asked numerous times how I was able to conquer these dark days and "Move Forward" with the fruit of the spirit abiding in my life.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith,
humility, and self-control” Galatians 2: 22- 23
I will tell you this; I did not endure my divine storm by going to church. It is true that I went to church every Sunday, bible study every Wednesday, and I streamed services daily throughout the week. However, going to church did not heal me. I was delivered and healed by my application of the Word of God. My faith in God gave me the courage to trust God’s will over my own. This led to me getting an understanding of God’s Word in my daily life and developing a personal relationship with God whereby I offered my body as a living sacrifice for his dwelling.
I came to understand that the church, the house of God, is not a building made by brick. The church of God is within us.
"Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:21
We are God's temple where his spirit dwells.
The bible says the kingdom of God is within us. Too many people leave God in the church, a building, instead of living their lives as the church.
I know, because that was my life. I was holy on Sunday and suicidal on Monday. We can and must fix this! We fix it by knowing who we are, by knowing our true identities as believers in Christ. We are the church, the masses of believers housing the Holy Spirit within our humanity.
“So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:5
Instead of being holy for 2-hours on Sunday, let’s be the church all day every day. As we go through our days, let's preface each decision with how would the church handle this? How would Jesus handle this? When we live, move, and have our being in Christ, we are able to perform great works, like Jesus, by spreading love and healing the multitudes.
This is how I conquered my hardships. I made Jesus the corner stone of my life not just my Sunday. I now seek out God’s counsel every day. I literally practice being consistent about abiding in Jesus---> following his teaches. When we abide in Jesus, we receive the Holy Spirit by which we are able to live an abundant life as children of God. This literally means the spirit of God comes to dwell inside our being.
We only have two choices in life. We are either being Jesus, or we are being the devil. Our bodies are either our Heaven or they are our Hell. We decide by choosing faith or fear.
It is my spiritual practice to be consistent in my walk with God by having faith that
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.” Philippians 4:13
My faith enables me to choose love over hate, joy over sorrow, and peace over anxiety. I could sit and dwell on a few bad days for the rest of my life, but why? Instead, I choose to live, I choose Christ knowing that I am a spiritual being having a human experience.
This is how the church will change the world.
We don't go to church to heal ourselves. We become the church by healing ourselves, by following Christ 24/7 365, and then we heal the world!
The bible says God gives us "exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ever ask according to what is within us." Ephesians 3:20 This makes perfect sense. We leave all our happiness in the church and then we carry all of our fear, sorrow, and anxiety into the world. We believe that we are separate from each other instead of one body in Christ, and we create a world of suffering.
It is time for us to be the church. When we become whom God has called us to be, we will be able to sustain the happiness of our Sunday morning fellowship every day. Can you imagine living with the Holy Spirit, having praise and worship every morning, and going to bed with a Word from God? I can! I have! I do!
I envision church at home, church while driving, church on corners, church on the subway, church in schools, church at the office, church in the supermarket, church at the park, church in the malls, church in the courthouse, church in the jails, church in the hospitals, church online, church all day every day.
It’s time to spread love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, humility, and self-control throughout all the corners of the earth. We shall dwell in the presence of God always, and we shall have Heaven on earth!
Walk in the light! Clarissa Joan
The Clarissa Joan Experience Retrospective serves The Body of Christ as a witness to seeking God in all things and inspiring other believers to adopt faith as a lifestyle.
It is about accepting the truth of matters of the heart and using that truth for the glory of God. We exist to testify about the goodness of God through being and to promote passion, purpose, peace, and prosperity for all believers, servants of The Lord, and citizens of his kingdom.
