Dear Friends,

After three months of discipleship training at YWAM Kona, Hawaii, our family of five is embarking upon our first mission. We will be staffing a recreational youth summer camp in Alberta and preaching the gospel amongst at risk populations in Vancouver for deliverance.

Oh Canada, here we come!

“Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,[a] baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28: 16 - 20

We have been commissioned to go and teach, preach, heal, evangelize, prophecy, worship, and most importantly build —up new living temples for the habitation of God’s glory in the hearts and minds of believers committed to The Kingdom of God on Earth.

The Lord has given us very clear instructions of the missionary language HE is calling our family into: Liberation!

Did You Know?

George Liele, a Black man who was freed from slavery by way of his salvation in Christ, is the first American missionary. He went on to fight for many others to be free, start the first Black Baptist Church, and become the first missionary to go on missions outside of the US.

When a person knows God for his or herself, they have no choice but to live free.

“Where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 3:17

In the YWAM world, there are seven spheres of influence a missionary can be called into. When I look back over the last twenty years of life with my missions partner, best friend, and husband, Teddy Middleton, I can see the hand of God truly equipping us for the adventure of a lifetime.

In week four of our discipleship training, I became overwhelmed with a need to know God’s heart for our family in missions. Having never imagined myself or our family to be called to the nations in this way, I needed to know from The Lord… “what is our missionary language to the nations.”

This was a timely ask, because week three of our training focused on destiny by design. We were essentially immersed in an entire week of seeking the Lord about our kingdom destinies.

The Lord answered immediately and this is what he said:

“Tell my children’s stories from all around the world. Give witness to the true identities of my beloved.”

We are excited to go into all the nations and preach the gospel, make disciples, and be a first hand witness to the goodness of God stored up on the inside of every nation, tribe, and tongue.

Middletons On A Mission will use our faith-based media tech platform as a voice for the voiceless to echo the word of God’s children’s testimonies all around the world. The Goodness Report, our free digital content hub, will be expanding it’s good news to include —proclaiming the truth about God in all nations and HIS love in the hearts and identities of all men who believe.

On Juneteenth 2025, we were blessed to produce our first edutainment program, “Wade In The Water: A Juneteenth Celebration.” We had the honor to teach our Family DTS Q2 multi-ethnic and international community all about the God gifted identity of the Black Diaspora through the liberation story which took place June 19, 1865 in Galveston, Tx.

We are excited to launch our “Middleton’s On A Mission” multi-media digital docu-series this Thanksgiving Day 2025! All Being Academy members will be able to follow our journey and support our ministry to the nations.
