"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ."
- 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
An Invitation To Renew Your Mind
Are you feeling out of sorts? Do you need a mental break or a reset to your nervous system? Maybe you are sensing a new beginning on the horizon and an end to your current season. All of these and more are great reasons to activate "The God Diet: 21 Days of Mental Refresh."
This is a 21-day fast focused on cognitively rebooting our capacity to mentally flow well in our calling as believers and purpose-driven members of The Body of Christ. The executive functioning capacity in our brains is built on strong synapses. Synapses are the neurological connections in our brain that make it possible for all facets of our being to communicate well with one another.
When we are stressed or overwhelmed our synapses underperform. This is a very plausible occurrence in the age of big data, fear-based news, and over consumption of useless information.
Imagine being an air traffic controller with multiple planes trying to land on the same landing strip at the same time. This is a crash many of us experience on a mental level daily. From thoughts about work tasks, relationships, money, food, what we will wear, community engagements, and the non-stop trends on our newsfeed sending us in a thousand directions cognitively. These days, being stressed out mentally is more common than being at peace within.
Believe it or not, our brains are actually wired for love, joy, and deep connection with other humans.
When we operate from a space of ease, instead of the stressed state of FOMO which induces fight or flight, we increase our capacity to think better thoughts. Hosting healthier thoughts inspires our bodies to induce a wellness state of peace in our nervous system.
This Summer 2023, we invite you to try "The God Diet." This is a 21-Day nourishment experience for your brain. We all know our bodies need to be fed quality calories throughout the day. Our souls, also, need to be nourished with loving thoughts and healthy sensorial experiences. This aligns our true physical realities with our ideal state of being, Heaven on Earth.
"The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law." - Galatians 5:22
Tip:
Do not be conformed to this world,[c] but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2
